Chino Hills High School offers a Health Sciences Academy, where students have the opportunity to take courses themed around the health sciences, aimed at producing students who are prepared to enter the health sciences professions and equipped for the challenges for higher education. Founded in 2007, the participants have gone on to have a tremendously challenging and rewarding high school experience at Chino Hills High. Students have the opportunity to participate in 4 years of rigorous instruction, relevant to their higher education and/or career goals, and in an environment where a high regard is placed on relationships between staff, students, and the community alike. Look into how you can be a part of it!
Academy Announcements Club Meeting! HSA students! Don't forget there is a club meeting this Wednesday! Coming back from break made it difficult to plan a meeting last week, so it has been changed. Rather than the first Wednesday of the month, the meeting has been changed to this Wednesday, January 11th. Hope to see you all there!
Special Ed Dance! Anyone interested in volunteering to help at the Special Ed dance please go see Mrs. Baun!
Guest Speakers Needed!!!Do you know anyone that has a profession in the medical field? If so, please ask them to be a guest speaker for HSA! We're in great need of guest speakers this year, and guest speakers pose as a great opportunity for students to learn about the vast variety of careers available for them in the future!
T-Shirt Update! Unfortunately the v-necks we've ordered are on back order until January, but crew neck tshirts will be available as of Monday, December 12. T-shirts are now only $10 for all styles, and if you haven't ordered one and would like to please see Mr. Lawhorn.
Sweatshirts will also be available at a later date! Upcoming HSA Volunteer Opportunities! HSA students! If you're interested in helping with any of the following volunteer opportunities, please go see Mr. Lawhorn in room 151.
Just a reminder! Students and parents! PLEASE join the HSA site! All information regarding the Health Science Academy and club will be posted throughout the school year. Keep up to date with all information, important events, volunteer opportunities, fundraisers, etc.
